levelset

Ok, lets take a minute to set some expectations from this blog. If you are looking for updates about Drew and Kristi, you will probably be disappointed. Sure, we will have the occasional posting dedicated to either one or both of us. And lets be honest with eachother, are you reading this blog to get your Drew and Kristi fix??? That was a rhetorical question, you don't need to answer. Thats right, this little guy right here, thats the reason that you came to this blog (isn't he cute). We know that since this little ball of sunshine came into our lives that things will be different. People will no longer call to see how we are doing, they call to hear Jaxson coo at them on the phone! They no longer visit because they enjoy our presence, they visit so they can hold Jaxson and see him smile! And Christmas, well, you'll see what I mean. I know, I exaggerate (slightly!), but lets face it, there is some truth there...but we are OK with it. I mean, look at the little guy, isn't he just the cutest baby ever! (those of you that have kids need not answer that one, unless your one of his grandparents!)

Ok, enough rambling, onto todays update. We took Jax to the doctor on Monday because he has a little cough that he can't get rid of. But thats not what I wanted to write about, he'll be fine. I wanted to say that they weighed him and he is 16 lbs. Thats right, 16. He has gained more that 1 lb since his 4 month checkup. Hes got 3 teeth starting, and maybe a 4th starting to poke out. We look back at pictures from the hospital and right when we first got home, he has grown so much already!

  3. I'm with Kelli. I do love to see Jaxson, but I also want to see the both of you!!! I love you all, Luah too. I know that in my enthusiasm to see the "baby" I have in the past gone to hold Jaxson before giving you guys hugs - but no more!! I'll hug you first...then grab the baby. I always am interested in what is going on in your lives and hope you will share the good times, tough times, sad times, happy times, etc. with us. Can't wait until you ALL get here for Christmas. We will be thinking of you while we are DC over Thanksgiving. Maybe we can plan a skype. Hugs and blessings, Pat
